‘332 Mumbai to India’ will open the secret
Rahul Raj came to Mumbai from Bihar. He planned to kill MNS Chief Raj Thakre but Mumbai Police killed him in Bus No. 332. Was that a murder or encounter?
Producer Sangeet Shivan is producing a film “332 Mumbai to India” on the subject. The film is directed by writer-director Mahesh Pandey and will be presented by K. Sera Sera.
Censor Board has some objection regarding this film and told to avoid “Bhaiya” and “Marathi” word in the film while in a Marathi Film “Me Shivaji Raje Bhosle Boltoy” Censor had passed words like “Bhaiya” and “Ghati”. Not only this, Censor Board also passed abusing words in many films like “Omkara”. Producer Sangeet Shivan and Writer-Director Mahesh Pandey is not ready to take away words like “Marathi” and “Bhaiya” out of the film. They are ready to fight in court against the Censor Board’s decision.
This film is based on North Indian and Marathi issue, in which first time someone has tried to express, Mumbai belongs to whom and who has rights on Mumbai. Censor Board had some other objections also with “332 Mumbai to India”. Censor Board has pointed the finger on a dialogue in which Sachin Tendulkar is playing Cricket under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. There is also a controversial dialogue in which a character asks, when I had surrendered rights of ruling India to a foreign born lady then what’s the problem with North Indian residing in his own country ?
Producer Sangeet Shivan and writer-director Mahesh Pandey are not saying any more regarding this film.
“332 Mumbai to India” is expected to be released in October, 2010.
